Bank Of India Employees Union, Odisha Registered as an Independent base union on 13th February 1981 having Regd No. 1339.Prior to formation of Independent Union, The Odisha State Committee was functioning under Bank of India Employees’ Union Kolkata. Leaders namely Com. Damodar Pagal, Com. Alekh Das, Com Suresh Chandra Mishra, Com. S.N.Nanda,Com.Pradipta Kumar Pattanaik & Com. Saroj Ranjan Mallick are successive General Secretary since 1981. We are proud to have the inspiring leadership of Com Suresh Chandra Mishra for a long period of 23 years.He had led our movement magnificently for two decade and given hope, faith courage confidence, valour and vitality to the successive collective leadership.Com S.N.Nanda led the union for a period of 3 years.During this period union got the momentum it required to achieve the goals and aspiration of our Comrades.Com. Pattanaik led from the front for more than six years giving stability to the Union. The organization during its 38 years of existence transformed into a mighty and strong organization, protecting and promoting interest of Employees of Bank of India in the State of Odisha. Our union is a strong and vibrant unit of Federation of Bank of India Staff Unions and All Odisha Bank Employees Association. Our organization had passed many complex challenges in protecting interest of its members. We say with pride and confidence that with the whole hearted support of our comrades, we shall march ahead to greater glory and overcome all the attacks and obstacle in future.
